Judicial Reforms in India

Need:
  1. time-taking process
  2. costly
  3. large pendency of cases
  4. lower faith in subordinate courts, High Court (appeal to higher courts)
This amounts to denying of Justice "justice delayed is justice denied "
This is against principle of equality and hence against democracy.

18th Law Commission Suggestions:
  1. Utilising full working hours
  2. Use of technology viz. Computers, Mobile, Internet etc. to trach cases, decisions, file petitions, etc.
  3. Clubbing of similar cases
  4. Putting time limits on arguments and decision
  5. curtailing vacancies
